Spend less than you earn, save/invest/pay off debt with the difference
Invest early
Use credit cards wisely. Know yourself
Index funds are far better than mutual funds and often outperform individual stock picks
Maximize your tax deferred/Tax free accounts
Learn the difference between a need and a want
Marry the right person (don't marry the wrong person)
Pay yourself first
If you dont understand it, don't invest in it
